Founded by three young lawyers in 1981, Sit, Fung, Kwong & Shum has grown to become one of the major local law firms in Hong Kong today. We have a wide spectrum of practice areas including corporate and commercial, intellectual property, dispute resolution, conveyancing and probate, trusts, and information technology. We provide professional services to local and overseas clients which include leading multinational corporations, public and private companies and professional firms.

Our firm has over ninety members - including 30 odd solicitors, 1 Australian and New Zealand registered patent attorney and 6 trainee solicitors. There are 3 notaries public, 5 China-Appointed Attesting Officers, 1 Chartered Arbitrator and 2 Accredited Mediators in our Firm. Many of our lawyers are qualified to practise in jurisdictions apart from Hong Kong, such as England, Australia and Singapore.

Going international, we allied with law firms in New Zealand and France in the 1990s. In 1996, the firm established alliances with A.J. Park, the foremost specialist intellectual property law firm in New Zealand. Later in 1998, we allied with Lefèvre Pelletier & associés, Avocats, a French law firm well known for the provision of quality services. We are also a member of the International Lawyers Network which has over 4200 lawyer-members worldwide.
